Belford Shiraz

Thomas Wines Belford Shiraz is sourced from the Ridgeview Vineyard at Belford in the Hunter Valley, planted circa 1998 a short distance north-east of the cellar door.

The vineyard is relatively close in location and age to the Sweetwater Vineyard, which produces the wine's sibling Sweetwater Shiraz. Yet despite the proximity, the sites produce distinct wines.

The wine is made using a 'keep it simple' philosophy. The focus is steadfastly kept on the fruit and the character of the vineyard.

Deep red purple, Thomas Wines Belford Shiraz is medium to full bodied with a darker fruit spectrum and savoury structure. Cellaring potential is 10 years.
